Our story
The Benedict group runs three places in Prague. What they share: we make as much as we can ourselves — beer, bread and pasta.
It started in Ječná: the Pivovarský dům has brewed on the spot since spring 1998
and the group took it over in 2022. A year earlier we had saved the Pivovarský klub
in Karlín as it was closing and gave it a new life. Then came a journey through
Tuscan trattorias — and Amiata in Vinohrady.
Where to find us

Prague 2 · New Town
Pivovarský dům Benedict
A brewpub on the corner of Ječná and Lípová since 1998. Beers you will not find elsewhere, and the tasting dinner.

Prague 8 · Karlín
Pivovarský klub Benedict
Two bars, monastery beer from Břevnov, craft from Bohemia and the world, and the Czech cooking that goes with it.

Prague 2 · Vinohrady
Amiata La Cucina Toscana
Tuscan cucina povera: handmade pici, game and wines from small producers.
What we make ourselves
Beer
In Ječná we brew in our own brewhouse, the specials under the patronage of the Břevnov Monastery Brewery. In Karlín we pour carefully chosen beers from all over the country and the world.
Kitchen
Modern Czech cooking in both beer houses, Tuscan at Amiata. Our own bread, our own pasta, pici included.
People
We fill most positions from within and pay people for what they can do, not for how long they have been here.
The best way to know us is at the table.
